LLC BaltTransServis (BTS) was founded in 1999 in St Petersburg and since then has become one of the largest private operators focusing on rail transportation of oil products and oil in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic countries.

BaltTransServis offers a full range of freight rail transportation services for oil and oil products. Among BTS’s customers are major oil companies such as PJSC OC Rosneft, PJSC Gazprom Neft, OJSC TAIF-NK and several Russian and international oil traders. The company strives to provide an outstanding quality of service and unrivalled relability, becoming an intergral part of the customer’s logistics process.

To further optimize services for its customers, BTS operates its own block trains in key parts of the Russian railway system – the Northern, Moscow, Oktyabrskaya, Kuibyshevskaya, North Caucasian, South Eastern and Kalinigradskaya Railways.

In addition to its headquarters in St Petersburg, the company has offices in Moscow, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Samara, Velikie Luki and Dno, its own rail car repair yard in Ivanovo, and a locomotive repair subsidiary, LLC RemTransServis, in Rybinsk.

BaltTransServis is a member of the Rail Carriers and Operators Association. The company has won various awards that recognize it as a reliable business partner and a socially responsible company.

Since 2009, BaltTransServis is part of Globaltrans group (LSE: GLTR), a leading freight rail transportation group with operations in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic countries. As of the end of 2016, the Group’s total fleet was approximately 68.5 thousand units. The Group’s fleet is one of the modern in the industry and primarily consists of universal gondola cars and rail tank cars.
